The Philadelphia FOP Lodge #5 has endorsed Rep. Dwight Evans in his run for Congress in the 2nd Congressional District.
“I am proud to announce that the Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police has endorsed Dwight Evans and his run for the 2nd Congressional District.” said President John McNesby. “During his 36 years as a state representative, Dwight Evans has worked to address the issues faced by the men and women in uniform that protect the streets of Philadelphia. He will carry this dedication with him to Washington D.C.”
“I am truly honored today to receive the endorsement of FOP Lodge #5.” said Dwight Evans. “We ask much from the men and women who patrol our streets keeping us safe and I have always been an advocate for strengthening the relationship between the police and the communities that they serve. Together we can work to transform our neighborhoods where families and businesses can thrive and grow.”
